Refused to grant license for Cu Da Lat golf course building

Lam Dong Department of Construction refused to grant a license to a golf club building in Cu Hill that exceeded regulations by more than 17,000 square meters due to the Provincial People's Committee's request to dismantle it.

Previously, after being discovered to have violated the law, Hoang Gia DL Joint Stock Company submitted a request for a construction permit for the golf club building in Cu Hill. However, Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee requested the investor to dismantle the violating items, so the Department of Construction had no basis to grant a permit under its authority.

Hoang Gia DL Joint Stock Company is the owner of many tourist projects in Da Lat, including the project at Cu Hill. In March 2023, Da Lat City authorities discovered many violations at this project. Accordingly, a new project was licensed for a basement, but the investor built 4 more floors above ground, with a total area of ​​more than 17,000 m2. Nearby, there is also a cluster of dome-shaped buildings built more than 3,000 m2 larger than the regulations.

The People's Committee of Da Lat City fined the investor 130 million VND for illegal construction and 110 million VND for illegal construction. The investor must stop construction at the project and complete licensing procedures. The government gave the enterprise 90 days to remedy the consequences.

Then Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee requested Da Lat City to strictly handle violations in the project, clarifying responsibility for lax management. The investor must dismantle illegal and unauthorized constructions before January 25, otherwise they will be forced to do so before February 25.
