After storm No. 11, the communes of Bo Ha, Dong Ky, Tam Tien, Yen The... were partially flooded, some households were isolated by floodwaters. The Military Command of Bac Ninh province, its affiliated units, communes and wards mobilized hundreds of officers, soldiers and militia to assist people in moving people and property to safety.

In Bo Ha commune, the landslide caused about 100m of rock and soil to flow onto the road, temporarily cutting off Ho Rich village. Near the iron bridge, route 292C - at Km9 in Ben Tram village, a landslide appeared on the road, with a very high risk of large-scale landslides if the rain continues. Other villages in Bo Ha commune are being evacuated by the Army and Police to evacuate assets and livestock from the danger zone.

In Xuan Luong commune, 6 isolated households in Con Trang and Trai Song villages were evacuated to safety by officers and soldiers of Brigade 409; currently, they are continuing to rescue 5 households in Na Lu village that were completely isolated.

In Tam Tien commune, 16 households in the villages of Bai Lat, Cham, Mo Trang, and Tien Thinh had their houses flooded. The forces are helping people move people and their belongings to higher ground. The militia is on duty, guiding traffic participants not to go through National Highway 17 due to landslides. In Yen The commune, 7 households were isolated, and the Military Command sent speedboats to move the households.

In addition, the communes and wards of Yen The, Nenh, Bac Lung, Kien Lao, My Thai, Van Ha... were also affected, many places were flooded more than 1 meter deep. The Provincial Military Command directed agencies, units, and Military Commands of communes and wards to maintain 100% of their military personnel on duty. Officers and soldiers are ready to go on duty 24/7.  

Mobilizing more than 2,800 officers and soldiers along with supplies, vehicles and equipment to participate in responding to and overcoming the consequences of floods; coordinating with police forces and grassroots forces to urgently evacuate people and property from flooded areas to safe places; participating in dyke protection, helping people harvest rice and crops.

The Provincial Military Command has stepped up propaganda to every citizen, officer, and soldier about measures to respond to and overcome the consequences of storms and floods. Established inspection teams for areas at risk of flooding. Arranged forces to block off, put up warning signs, and stretch out guidance ropes; closely monitored the development of natural disasters in the areas.

With the initiative and determination of Party committees and commanders at all levels, the armed forces of Bac Ninh province are affirming their core role in preventing and fighting natural disasters, contributing to protecting people's lives and property, and maintaining the defense posture in all situations.
