Nghe An Youth Newspaper and Radio and Television are proactive and creative in the digital transformation era

On the afternoon of October 14, the Youth Union of Nghe An Newspaper, Radio and Television held its 1st Congress, term 2025 - 2027.

Imprints from the movement and spirit of dedication

After being established under Decision No. 106-TTr/DU of the Provincial Party Committee, the Nghe An Newspaper, Radio and Television Youth Union quickly consolidated its organization with 44 members and a provisional Executive Committee of 5 comrades. In the new context of both organizational consolidation and adapting to a multi-platform operating model, the Youth Union has demonstrated initiative, solidarity and dynamism in all aspects of work.

Political and ideological education is regularly focused on through regular meetings, thematic meetings and movement activities. 100% of union members register to study and follow Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle; actively participate in political activities, study the Party and Union's Resolutions, contributing to strengthening political capacity, improving the sense of responsibility and professional ethics of journalists.

The work of educating about tradition, gratitude, and "remembering the source of water" is also maintained through activities to honor martyrs, give gifts to poor students and families with meritorious services, helping union members imbue the spirit of humanity and sharing.

Outstanding in the past term were the large-scale and meaningful volunteer activities: The program "Sharing love - helping children go to school" raised funds to support poor students in the highlands; the program "Lighting up dreams" in collaboration with medical units to bring light to students in Quynh Luu; the activity "For children in the highlands" in Thanh Hoa, "Library for children" in Quy Chau, Quy Hop... From those practical actions, the Youth Union has created a strong impression of the spirit of "youth for the community".

Along with that, the Youth Union members always promote their core role in professional work. Many young reporters are assigned to take charge of key news lines, proactively participating in the production of social and humanitarian programs such as "Dreams for Children", reports on digital transformation, new rural construction, spreading good people - good deeds. Some members have won high prizes at provincial, industry and national press awards, contributing to affirming the capacity of the young generation of journalists in Nghe An...

Despite the difficulties due to the nature of their jobs, many union members often work far away and have limited time for common activities, with a sense of responsibility, the Youth Union still maintains vitality, creativity and spreads the spirit of solidarity and pioneering of the youth of the press agency.

Building a strong, creative and responsible Youth Union

Speaking at the Congress, comrade Tran Minh Ngoc - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Party Secretary, Editor-in-Chief of Nghe An Newspaper, Radio and Television acknowledged and commended the efforts and contributions of the youth union members in the past time. Although newly merged and operating under conditions of large and specific workload, the Youth Union has contributed to affirming the position of the province's key press and media agency, achieving many outstanding results. There are many union members who own quality press works, excellent programs, and at the same time effectively implementing emulation movements bearing the mark of youth - pioneering, dynamic, creative and full of aspirations to contribute.

The Youth Union was also recognized for its active participation in community and volunteer activities, and strong application of new technology in digital transformation, contributing to spreading the beautiful image of the agency and journalists in Nghe An in the new period.

Comrade Tran Minh Ngoc suggested that in the coming term, the Executive Committee of the Youth Union should continue to closely follow the Party Committee's orientation, concretize the policies of the higher-level Youth Union with practical programs and activities, associated with the characteristics of the journalism and media profession. Each member needs to be bolder, overcome shyness, proactively propose new topics and works, work effectively in groups, and at the same time constantly study, practice, and improve political qualities and professional ethics.

He emphasized that union members must be pioneers in digital transformation, adapt flexibly to changes, strive to become digital citizens, and strictly implement the agency's rules and regulations. The agency's leaders are committed to creating the best conditions for union members to contribute and join hands to build Nghe An Newspaper, Radio and Television to develop more and more strongly.

Speaking at the Congress, comrade Nguyen Ba Tuan Anh - Member of the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee, Secretary of the Youth Union of the Provincial Party Agencies acknowledged and commended the results that the Youth Union of Nghe An Newspaper, Radio and Television achieved in the past term. He assessed that the Youth Union had promoted the spirit of solidarity and creativity, clearly demonstrating the vanguard role of youth in carrying out political tasks, and actively participating in volunteer activities and youth movements of the bloc.
