This is an important political milestone, opening a new path of continued development. affirming the position and role of the Youth Union as a worthy reserve force of the Party, a revolutionary shock army in the new period.
Youthful energy in projects and tasks
The Provincial People's Committee Youth Union was established on February 19, 2025 on the basis of rearranging the Youth Union of the Provincial Agencies. Currently, the Provincial People's Committee Youth Union has 34 grassroots organizations with more than 16,000 members.
Since its establishment, the Provincial Youth Union has always received the attention and close direction of the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee, the coordination and support of departments, branches and units under the Provincial People's Committee. The staff and union members have high professional qualifications, are knowledgeable about technology, have a sense of responsibility, aspiration to contribute, and a dynamic working environment. This is an important foundation for the Provincial Youth Union to quickly stabilize its organization, affirm its position and role in the political system and in the youth movement of the province.
In the period of 2022-2025 and since its establishment, the "Youth Volunteer" movement has always been identified as the main movement of the Provincial People's Committee Youth Union. Activities have been strongly innovated in content and form, closely linked to the political tasks of the province, spreading the spirit of responsibility for the community of young people. The whole Union has carried out over 200 projects and tasks attracting more than 10,000 young union members to participate, with a total estimated value of over 4.2 billion VND.
Notably, the entire Union mobilized young union members to participate in developing advanced new rural infrastructure, model new rural areas, and civilized urban areas; regularly sponsored 70 pupil, students in difficult circumstances, with a total cost of nearly 800 million VND; presented over 3,000 gifts to disadvantaged households and children on holidays and Tet, with a total value of over 1.2 billion VND; repaired and built 5 new playgrounds for children, 5 smart swimming pools for teenagers; organized 50 medical examinations and free medicine distribution for 13,500 children and people in remote, mountainous, border and island areas; 65 voluntary blood donation campaigns collected 6,642 units of blood...
In particular, the entire Union responded to the campaign "90 peak days of propaganda, support, and guidance for people to resolve administrative procedures in the process of implementing 2-level local government", established and effectively maintained the model "Green Friday Volunteer" and 10 youth volunteer teams with more than 200 youth union members participating in direct support at the Provincial Public Administration Service Center and in communes, wards, and special zones. In the period of 2022-2025, the entire Union supported the implementation of over 44,800 online public service records.
From the revolutionary action movement, many typical and advanced examples have been honored, becoming beautiful models of bravery, intelligence and dedication of the youth of the Provincial People's Committee Youth Union in the new era. In the past 3 years, the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Committee Youth Union awarded 50 titles of "Young Talent"; 50 "Outstanding young civil servants and public employees". The entire Youth Union introduced 758 outstanding members to the Party, of which 551 were admitted to the Party, affirming the important role of the Youth Union in Party building, nurturing the next generation with rich ideals and strong courage.
New spirit, new determination
The 1st Congress of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of the Quang Ninh Provincial People's Committee, term 2025-2030 is an important political event. The Congress has the task of assessing the situation and results of the work of the Youth Union and the youth movement in the past time; pointing out the advantages, limitations, causes, lessons learned; and at the same time determining the directions, goals, tasks, and key solutions for the work of the Youth Union and the youth movement in the term 2025-2030.
Secretary of the Provincial People's Committee Youth Union Vu Thi Thuy Linh shared: In the new development period, the requirements for innovation, administrative reform and building a digital government pose important tasks for young people. Therefore, in the 2025-2030 term, the Provincial People's Committee Youth Union focuses on building a strong and comprehensive Youth Union organization, innovating the content and methods of operation in a practical and effective direction, closely linked to the political tasks of the Provincial People's Committee Party Committee and the development goals of the province. At the same time, pay attention to building a new generation of young people with revolutionary ideals; patriotism; courage, ambition, good ethics; extensive knowledge, healthy body and soul rich in national cultural identity; constantly promoting the spirit of dedication, the vanguard role of young people in socio-economic development, international integration; developing science and technology, innovative startups, digital transformation; protect the Party's ideological foundation and fight against erroneous and hostile views.
Based on that goal, the Provincial People's Committee Youth Union continues to innovate the work of political, ideological, ethical, and cultural lifestyle education for young union members, associated with studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics, and lifestyle, and the movement "Building exemplary values of Vietnamese youth in the new era". At the same time, effectively implement the movement "Vietnamese youth pioneers in the new era" including: Pioneering in science and technology development, innovation and digital transformation; pioneering in legitimate enrichment, developing the country's economy; pioneering in international integration; pioneering in volunteer activities for the community; pioneering in participating in protecting the Fatherland.
Along with that is the program "Comprehensive development of Vietnamese youth" aiming at training, developing intelligence; physical strength and improving the cultural and spiritual life of young union members. Three breakthrough tasks were identified including: Focusing on strongly innovating the Union's operating methods to suit the new situation; improving digital capacity, mastering science and technology for young people; widely implementing activities to support young people in starting a business, especially innovative start-ups.
With the spirit of patriotism, national pride and the desire to contribute, the youth of the Provincial People's Committee Youth Union are determined to innovate, create, compete to achieve many achievements, successfully implement the Resolution of the 1st Provincial People's Committee Youth Union Congress, contributing to building Quang Ninh to be more and more prosperous, civilized, modern and happy.
