Ha Tinh youth join hands to overcome the consequences of storm No. 10

After storm No. 10, the youth of Ha Tinh province promptly took action, promptly supporting people in the affected areas to overcome the consequences of damage, and soon stabilize their lives, production and study.

Leaders of Ha Tinh Provincial Youth Union presented gifts to people affected by storm No. 10

According to Ha Tinh Provincial Youth Union, as of October 3, the Standing Committee of Ha Tinh Provincial Youth Union has mobilized 500 million VND to give to 62 households in difficult circumstances in communes damaged by the storm; supported 100 million VND for people in Duc Minh and Nghi Xuan communes isolated by floods and more than 1 ton of necessities for Duc Quang commune. At the same time, mobilized and presented 300 gifts and 50 cartons of milk to encourage children in flood-affected areas on the occasion of Mid-Autumn Festival.

Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ha Tinh province, Secretary of Ha Tinh Provincial Youth Union Nguyen Ny Huong and units presented gifts to support people.

In parallel, the Youth Union at all levels established a provincial mobile team with 200 youth union members, along with 69 commune-level teams, and carried out more than 1,000 activities to support disaster recovery, with the participation of over 10,000 union members and youth.

Activities focus on urgently cleaning schools, repairing and reinforcing houses, cleaning the environment, rescuing and supporting people in areas damaged by storms and floods.

Up to now, the youth of Ha Tinh province have mobilized more than 3 billion VND for sharing and supporting the people. The above results are just the first step, the youth of Ha Tinh province will continue to accompany the people in overcoming the consequences of the storm, contributing to the early stabilization of life and production.

Providing financial support to families affected by storm No. 10

By October 4, floodwaters in some localities in Ha Tinh province had basically receded. With the spirit of "cleaning up as the water recedes", taking advantage of the sunny weather, local authorities, functional forces, and organizations continued to make efforts to focus on supporting people in cleaning up schools, residential areas, and roads to soon stabilize their lives, production, travel, and study.

The Ha Tinh Provincial Relief Mobilization Committee has just issued a decision to allocate funds to support overcoming the damage caused by storm No. 10 in the area. Accordingly, the Ha Tinh Provincial Relief Fund will allocate 33.25 billion VND to support localities to overcome the damage caused by storm No. 10.

Specifically, 16 billion VND will be allocated to support 20 communes and wards in group 1, each commune and ward will receive 800 million VND; 10 billion VND will be allocated to support 20 communes and wards in group 2, each commune and ward will receive 500 million VND; 7.25 billion VND will be allocated to support 29 communes and wards in group 3, each commune and ward will receive 250 million VND.
