The rate of candidates coming to complete procedures for the high school graduation exam reached nearly 99%.

Information from the Ministry of Education and Training said that the total number of candidates registered for the high school graduation exam in 2024 is 1,071,393.

On the afternoon of June 26, the total number of candidates who came to complete the exam procedures was 1,060,356, reaching a rate of 98.96%. The total number of candidates who did not come to complete the exam procedures: 11,037, accounting for a rate of 1.04%.

The Ministry of Education and Training assessed that the exam registration procedure took place safely, orderly, seriously, and in accordance with regulations. Some candidates who have not yet completed the procedures will continue to complete the procedures early in the morning of June 27.

In Hanoi, according to a quick report from the Department of Education and Training on the afternoon of June 26, the entire city had 107,987 candidates coming to complete exam procedures, reaching 99.46% of the total number of candidates registered to take the exam. The number of absent candidates was 586.

Hanoi has arranged 4,532 examination rooms at 196 examination sites in 30 districts, towns and cities; mobilized 15,115 officials, teachers and staff to participate in the examination supervision work. 100% of the officials, teachers and staff were present on duty this afternoon, June 26.

The 2024 high school graduation exam will take place on June 27 and 28 with 5 exams, including 3 independent exams: Math, Literature, Foreign Language; 1 combined exam of Natural Sciences including the components of Physics, Chemistry, Biology; 1 combined exam of Social Sciences including History, Geography, Civic Education for candidates studying the general education program at high school level; or History, Geography for candidates studying the continuing education program at high school level.

Candidates are chosen to take one of two combined exams.

Tomorrow, June 27, in the morning from 7:35, candidates will take the Literature exam, lasting 120 minutes; in the afternoon from 14:30, candidates will take the Math exam, lasting 90 minutes.
