VHO - The Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) said that as part of the preparation plan for the 2026 AFC U17 Championship Qualifiers, the Vietnam U17 team will have a training trip in Japan in early November.

In addition, physical fitness is also emphasized through a training program designed by Brazilian fitness expert Brandi Regato Neto, to help players reach their best condition before entering the international competition stage.

Recently, the team had two practice matches with the quality U18 PVF team, thereby testing the ability to operate the gameplay and tactical adaptation of the positions.

In the first match, U17 Vietnam lost narrowly 0-1, while in the second match, the team achieved a 3-3 draw after leading 3-0 in a proactive ball possession game.

Coach Cristiano Roland made many changes to the lineup in the second half to test the players, leading to the opponent's 3 equalizers, but in return, it helped the coaching staff have a more specific assessment of each player's ability.
