This afternoon, October 22, the team will continue to have a practice match with U17 Hanoi , thereby continuing to perfect the preparation of tactics and personnel.
According to plan, U17 Vietnam will leave for Japan for training from November 5. During this time, the team is expected to play three friendly matches with opponents arranged by the Japan Football Federation.
On November 16, coach Cristiano Roland and his team will return home to enter the final preparation stage before entering the 2026 AFC U17 Qualifiers.
In the 2026 AFC U17 Qualifiers, Vietnam U17 is in Group C with Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong (China), Macau (China) and the Northern Mariana Islands.
The matches will take place from November 22 to 30 at two stadiums: Vietnam Youth Football Training Center (Hanoi) and PVF Youth Football Training Center ( Hung Yen ).
