U19 women's Vietnam and Thailand determined to win Southeast Asian championship

To reach the final match, Vietnam's U19 women's team won a resounding 4-0 victory over Indonesia's U19 women's team, while Thailand's U19 women's team defeated Myanmar's U19 women's team 5-1 in the semi-finals.

Evaluating the Thailand U19 women's team, Vietnam U19 women's coach Okiyama Masahiko said: "I have watched the matches of the Thailand U19 women's team, especially the semi-final match against the Myanmar U19 women's team.

However, due to the rainy weather, there are limitations in analysis. The Thai U19 women's team has many good players. Their attack line has 5-6 good players who can be promoted to the national team."

The U19 women's defense of Vietnam has not conceded a goal before the final match, but the previous challenges are not big.

Coach Okiyama Masahiko said: “It is true that the group stage is completely different from the semi-finals and finals. The U19 women's team of Vietnam will make some adjustments to their defense in the training session before the final match.

The Japanese coach assessed that meeting the U19 women's team of Thailand is a big challenge: "I didn't come to Vietnam last year but I watched the match again and knew the result. This time, the goal of the U19 women's team of Vietnam is still the championship.

Of course, the opponent is the same so the match will be very difficult. The match has not ended so the result is not known. But one thing is for sure, the U19 women's team of Vietnam will play their best to contribute to a beautiful match."

Coach Nuengrutai Srathongvian highly appreciates Vietnam U19 women's team

For her part, coach of the Thai U19 women's team Nuengrutai Srathongvian said: "The Vietnamese U19 women's team is a strong team, we have carefully researched the home team.

Playing against the U19 women's team of Vietnam is an experience. The match against the U19 women's team of Vietnam is more than a challenge for the U19 women's team of Thailand."
