UNICEF NextGen is a vibrant community of young professionals and leaders who are passionate about supporting UNICEF's mission to promote and protect children's rights. NextGen is empowering the next generation to be advocates for positive change and ensure every child has the opportunity to thrive and a bright future.

Ms. Rana Flower, UNICEF Representative in Vietnam, said that through its campaigns, network and influence, UNICEF NextGen has been raising community awareness and mobilizing resources to contribute to UNICEF Vietnam's activities for children.

Previously, UNICEF NextGen has organized notable projects, including the global campaign "Believe in Zero" with UNICEF, during its operation from 2013 - 2016.

This year, UNICEF NextGen is relaunched in Viet Nam on the occasion of International Children’s Day on June 1, with the aim of promoting the participation of young leaders and ensuring that children are always at the centre of sustainable development. UNICEF NextGen is helping to build and spread the spirit of social responsibility among young people in Viet Nam.

UNICEF Representative in Vietnam shared that by participating in UNICEF NextGen, young people not only change the lives of children, but also spread their positive energy and influence to their friends and colleagues.

The program attracted a large number of members and volunteers to participate.

In 2023, UNICEF NextGen is expected to organize activities and workshops to spread knowledge on parenting skills; build a green working environment with family-friendly policies at the workplace; and promote the implementation of children's rights in business activities at member companies.

“We welcome new young leaders to the UNICEF NextGen community as part of a network dedicated to advocating for children’s rights,” said Rana Flower.

Thuy Linh (20 years old) registered to participate in the program and said that she really loves volunteer activities, especially programs for children.

"I learned about the Emprowering Futures program and signed up to have the opportunity to meet and listen to UNICEF NextGen's upcoming action plans in Vietnam. I hope that in the future I can become a part of NextGen to contribute and help children in my country have a better life," Thuy Linh shared.
