“Over the past 3 months, we have competed and trained in many tournaments organized by VFF. U23 Vietnam also achieved good results in the U23 Southeast Asia tournament. Entering the U23 Asia Finals, all teams are equally strong, so we can fight comfortably,” Van Truong shared at the VFF App Launch Ceremony on the afternoon of October 6.
He believes that after recent competitive tournaments, the team is actively preparing both professionally and mentally. When asked about new recruit Vadim Nguyen, the young star of Hanoi said: "We have only practiced together for two sessions so we cannot evaluate much yet. But if the coaches trust him, Vadim must have something special to be called up to the national team."
Returning to the event, VFF called this digital platform the “12th player” of Vietnamese football. Van Truong and the U23 Vietnam stars such as Ly Duc, Le Viktor, Thai Son and the players of the Vietnam women’s youth team were excited about the application that can interact with fans.
VFF Vice President Nguyen Trung Kien emphasized: “We want to create a modern and friendly digital space where fans can connect directly, actively participate and clearly feel the role of the 12th player. This platform not only brings exclusive and personalized experiences, but also helps strengthen the relationship between national teams and fans.”
VFF hopes that each fan will be respected and honored, thereby creating spiritual resources for Vietnamese football to conquer greater goals in the international arena. In the immediate future, fans can directly watch the two matches of the Vietnamese team against Nepal in the 2027 Asian Cup Qualifiers, as well as accompany the U23 Vietnam team in the 33rd SEA Games or the 2026 AFC U23 Championship.
