That is the sharing of Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoang Lan, Director of the Center for Digital Transformation of Culture, Sports and Tourism, about the regulation of not using AI-generated images in entries for the Vietnam tourism impressive video/clip contest.

This is a contest launched by the Center for Digital Transformation of Culture, Sports and Tourism to promote, advertise and affirm the national tourism brand.

In recent years, Vietnam tourism has developed strongly, making important contributions to economic growth and promoting the country's image.

In the first 7 months of 2025, the number of international visitors to Vietnam reached a record of 12.2 million. Along with that, the number of domestic visitors was 93 million. Total revenue from tourism is estimated at about 616,000 billion VND.

Through the videos/clips of the contest, the organizers hope to promote the image of Vietnam as an attractive, quality, sustainable destination with majestic nature, unique culture and perfect tourism services.

The image of Vietnamese tourism is presented in a new way through the multidimensional perspectives of travel enthusiasts.

Thereby enriching the image and video database serving national promotional campaigns, contributing to the implementation of the goals of Vietnam's Tourism Development Strategy to 2030.

Speaking at the press conference, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoang Lan shared that in the context of increasingly fierce international tourism competition, creating attractive, emotional, and highly contagious media products is a key factor.

Ms. Lan hopes that with the creativity of the community, unique and new perspectives, the contest will bring a treasure trove of special videos, fully reflecting the beauty of the country and people of Vietnam.

The contest is not only an artistic playground but also a place for each person to tell their story about Vietnam, thereby contributing to building the Vietnamese tourism brand - a safe, friendly and attractive destination.
