"I have been to the small stage 5B to see this play, and saw Uncle Diep Lang perform, his acting was divine. It would be difficult for me to imitate him, so I will perform in my own way. This is a light psychological play but still has a modern feel.

I see that at this time, the play's new version still carries a humanistic message: People are born to seek happiness, no matter what state or physical condition they are in, happiness still determines the quality of life, so I found that theme very convincing and immediately agreed to participate, even though for many years I have been caught up in TV dramas and rarely had the opportunity to return to the stage" - artist Trung Dan shared.

Artist Trung Dan said that the play is about the issue of homosexuals being forced to marry, "Vietnamized" by author and director Nguyen Thi Minh Nguyet and set during the French colonial period.

The play "The Birds of Magnolia Garden" is a story about a young man named Lu Dao Kinh, a homosexual character in a play that takes place in China. In this new version, there is also the participation of actors: Meritorious Artist Vo Minh Lam, actors Quach Ngoc Tuyen, Cong Danh, Le Chi Na, and Ho Hong Tham.

Expected to premiere at the end of March at the Ho Chi Minh City Small Stage Drama Theater and perform a special show at the Ho Chi Minh City Theater with a large-scale investment in scenery.

"I have turned down many other shows to accept this role because I love Uncle Diep Lang so much. In the past, I did not accept any acting offers because I was too busy with my drama projects.
