Why was Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hiep disciplined with a warning?

In his role as Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Principal of Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hiep had shortcomings and violations.

Specifically, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hiep was irresponsible in implementing 6 resolutions of the Party Committee of Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine. The leaders implemented and made decisions that were not in accordance with the principles and regulations on the appointment and reappointment of management officials.

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hiep lacked responsibility in implementing working regulations, the principle of democratic centralism and the exemplary responsibility of cadres and party members.

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hiep organized domestic and international business trips with incorrect composition and job requirements. Lack of responsibility in inspection and supervision led to many party members and employees having shortcomings and violations.

According to the decision of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee's Inspection Committee, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hiep's violations caused bad public opinion among cadres and party members, reducing the prestige of the Party Committee, Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine and his personal prestige.

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hiep (49 years old), associate professor of medicine, doctor of medicine, excellent physician. Mr. Hiep was Vice Principal of Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine before becoming Principal of this school from July 2021.

Along with Mr. Hiep, Mr. Ngo Minh Xuan, former Party Secretary and former Chairman of the Board of Directors of Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine, was disciplined with a reprimand.
