Attending and directing the Congress were City Party Committee member, Vice Chairman of the City Fatherland Front Committee, Secretary of Hue City Youth Union Nguyen Thanh Hoai.

During the past term, Huong An youth has affirmed its pioneering and creative role in many fields. The movements “Green Sunday”, “Bright – green – clean – beautiful – orderly and safe alleys”, “Anti-plastic waste”, “Youth with traffic culture” have been maintained regularly, attracting thousands of union members and young people to participate.

Notably, the movement "Huong An Youth Pioneers in Digital Transformation" voluntarily helped more than 2,000 people use online public services. Along with that, the Ward Youth Union actively accompanies young people in studying, starting a business, and establishing a career; effectively manages 7 groups borrowing capital from the Social Policy Bank with outstanding loans of more than 9 billion VND, supporting dozens of young people to have stable jobs.

Speaking at the congress, Secretary of the Hue City Youth Union Nguyen Thanh Hoai emphasized: “In the new period, the Huong An Ward Youth Union needs to continue to affirm its pioneering role in digital transformation, actively innovate methods of gathering young people, focus on training young cadres and build a truly strong Youth Union organization from the grassroots. Each member must be the nucleus to spread the spirit of responsibility and creativity, contributing to building a civilized, friendly and unique Huong An ward.”

In the 2025-2030 term, with the spirit of "Solidarity - Pioneering - Creativity - Digital Transformation", Huong An Ward Youth Union sets out 15 key targets; in which the most prominent are: 100% of cadres, union members and 80% of young people study the resolutions of the Party and the Union; organize 2-3 volunteer programs each year; by 2030, 100% of union members are equipped with basic digital skills; carry out at least 5 youth projects associated with green - clean - beautiful - civilized urban areas; strive to admit 500-550 union members; introduce 10-15 outstanding union members to be admitted to the Party each year.
