Hai Ba Trung District ( Hanoi ) is implementing a project to renovate and repair Vo Thi Sau sidewalk to beautify the landscape of Youth Park. The project has a total investment of more than 3 billion VND.

Reporters noted that the sidewalks were under construction but many vehicles were already climbing onto the sidewalks to park. The shops opposite had also installed iron bridges for motorbikes to get on and off conveniently.

This includes strict handling of vehicles parked on the sidewalks. Clearing illegal parking spots and lots on the sidewalks to avoid affecting the sidewalks and causing frustration to the people.

It is expected that after renovating the sidewalk, the People's Committee of Hai Ba Trung District will continue to lower the fence of Tuoi Tre Park to create an open park to serve the people.

Along Thi Sach street, cars are parked in two rows even though parking is only permitted on one side.

The Department of Construction's probability inspection in some inner-city districts shows that the management, use and maintenance of sidewalks after investment in some streets are not guaranteed. The use of sidewalks is not in accordance with their functions, causing damage and deterioration of sidewalks.
