This is the common pride of Vietnam's tourism industry, demonstrating the strong, comprehensive and sustainable development of our country's tourism in recent years.
Many localities, businesses and units of Vietnam were also honored in other categories, such as: Hanoi - Asia's Leading City Destination and Asia's Leading Short-Term Resort Destination; Hoi An - Asia's Leading Cultural City Destination; Ninh Binh - Asia's Leading Emerging Destination; Van Don - Asia's Leading Regional Airport; Phong Nha - Ke Bang - Asia's Leading National Park; Moc Chau - Asia's Leading Regional Natural Destination...

Ho Chi Minh City was once again honored at the World Travel Awards, affirming its position as a leading destination in Asia and the world with four prestigious award categories.
In particular, Ho Chi Minh City was named in 4 categories including: Asia's Leading Business Travel Destination 2025 - Asia's Leading Business Travel Destination (winning for 4 consecutive years, from 2022 - 2025); Asia's Leading Festival & Event Destination 2025 - Asia's Leading Festival & Event Destination (winning for 4 consecutive years, from 2022 - 2025); Asia's Leading City Tourist Board 2025 - Asia's Leading Local Tourism Management Agency (under the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism, winning for 3 consecutive years: 2023, 2024, 2025); Asia's Leading Coastal City Break Destination 2025 - Asia's Leading Short Break Destination (under Vung Tau, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam - honored for the first time).
Notably, Vung Tau - a place in the former Ba Ria - Vung Tau province, now part of Ho Chi Minh City after the administrative boundary merger, was honored for the first time in the category "Asia's Leading Coastal City Break Destination 2025 - Short break destination in Asia's leading coastal city". This title contributes to highlighting the image of Vietnam's sea and island tourism, while opening up opportunities to promote Ho Chi Minh City's tourism brand more strongly in the region and the world.

A representative of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism said that being continuously honored at the “Oscar of the world tourism industry” is a clear demonstration of the prestige, attractiveness and sustainable development potential of the city’s tourism. This is not only the result of efforts to improve service quality and diversify tourism products, but also shows the image of a dynamic, modern, creative city but still imbued with cultural identity - a factor that helps Ho Chi Minh City always maintain its special attraction for domestic and international tourists.
