Vietnam Airlines opens direct flights to Hanoi

On the occasion of opening the new Hanoi - Phnom Penh route, Vietnam Airlines announced that it will launch preferential round-trip fares on flights between Vietnam and Cambodia from only 262 USD (equivalent to 6,649,000 VND, including taxes and fees).

This offer is for customers who purchase tickets from now until September 30, applicable for departure times from October 27 to November 2.

Vietnam Airlines will operate 4 flights/week on the route connecting Hanoi - Cambodia.

Previously, within the framework of President To Lam's State visit to the Kingdom of Cambodia, Vietnam Airlines announced the operation of a direct flight route from Hanoi to Phnom Penh.

From October 27, the airline will operate 4 flights/week. Passengers who need to travel from Hanoi to the Cambodian capital will have their travel time shortened to just over 2 hours.

With the opening of the direct flight route Hanoi - Phnom Penh, passengers have a new option in addition to the current 4 routes between Vietnam - Cambodia including: Ho Chi Minh City - Phnom Penh; Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City - Siem Reap and 1 route across Indochina. The total number of flights between the two countries has also been increased to 86 flights per week.

Currently, Vietnam Airlines is the only Vietnamese airline operating direct flights from Hanoi to Phnom Penh.

According to the airline representative, the new route will contribute to completing the connection and trade network between Vietnam and Cambodia. This also creates great attraction for tourists from Japan, Korea and European countries who want to travel to combine Vietnam with destinations in the region.

At the same time, Vietnam Airlines thanks Golden Lotus Plus members with a double bonus miles promotion for passengers flying in Business Class, Flexible Economy Class and Standard Economy Class when taking flights from Hanoi to Phnom Penh during the flight period from October 27 to November 30.

The offer applies to customers who purchase tickets from now until November 30 and have flight dates from October 27 to November 30.

Economy Class members flying Hanoi – Phnom Penh flights will also receive double bonus miles when purchasing tickets from now until November 2 and departing between October 27 and November 2.
