
Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the An Giang Provincial Specialized Committee Le Trung Ho and Deputy Governor, Head of the Koh Kong Provincial Specialized Committee Hak Leng co-chaired the ceremony. Attending were leaders of departments, branches and sectors of An Giang and Koh Kong provinces.
Speaking at the signing ceremony, Mr. Le Trung Ho said that, implementing the Agreement between the Government of Vietnam and the Royal Government of Cambodia signed on August 28, 2000 in Phnom Penh, up to now, the two teams searching for and collecting martyrs' remains in An Giang province have searched for and collected 4,286 martyrs' remains in 6 provinces of Cambodia. In Koh Kong province alone, Team K92 has collected 160 remains, of which 2 martyrs' remains were found in the 2024-2025 dry season. He emphasized that this result was achieved thanks to the close coordination and wholehearted support of the leaders, authorities, armed forces and people of Koh Kong province in collecting, providing information, guiding and protecting the search team. The signing ceremony continues to affirm the traditional solidarity and friendship between Vietnam and Cambodia, while expressing deep gratitude to the heroic martyrs who sacrificed for peace , independence and friendship between the two nations.

For his part, Mr. Hak Leng highly appreciated the positive cooperation results between the two provinces' Task Forces in recent times; affirmed that Koh Kong province will continue to support and closely coordinate in surveying, searching, and providing information to successfully complete tasks in the 2025-2026 dry season and the following stages.
At the ceremony, the two sides signed a memorandum of cooperation on the search, collection, and repatriation of the remains of Vietnamese volunteer soldiers and experts who died in Cambodia in Koh Kong province during the 25th phase, dry season 2025-2026.

On this occasion, the An Giang Provincial Task Force presented financial support from the Vietnamese Government to the Koh Kong Provincial Task Force to coordinate the search and collection of martyrs' remains, and presented gifts to express gratitude to the government, armed forces and people of Koh Kong province for their support and favorable conditions for the Task Force and Team K92 of the An Giang Provincial Military Command to successfully complete their tasks in the past time.
