At exactly 9:50 a.m. on October 1, flight VN441 of Vietnam Airlines from Incheon International Airport (South Korea) landed at Cam Ranh International Airport. A special welcome ceremony with water cannons was performed, in place of Cam Ranh Airport's greeting to the passengers. During this special flight, representatives of the Provincial People's Committee and Vietnam Airlines presented meaningful gifts and round-trip Business Class tickets from Incheon to Cam Ranh to the 9 millionth passenger. At the same time, to express gratitude, Vietnam Airlines also gave away round-trip Economy Class tickets from Incheon to Cam Ranh to the two lucky passengers numbered 8,999,999 and 9,000,001. All passengers on the flight received special souvenirs from the airline. Of which, international visitors are estimated at 3.6 million, up 147.9% over the same period. Domestic passengers are estimated to reach 5.4 million, up 27.2% over the same period.
