Honoring 3 outstanding artists of Binh Thuan

On the morning of January 30, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism solemnly organized a ceremony to award and honor the title "Meritorious Artist" to individuals who have made contributions to the culture, sports and tourism industry.

Mr. Nguyen Minh - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Mr. Nguyen Huu Dat - Head of the representative office of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in Ho Chi Minh City and many generations of actors and artists working in the industry came to congratulate and share this honor.

According to Decision 1432/QD-CTN on conferring the title of "Meritorious Artist" this time, Binh Thuan has 3 individuals honored for their contributions and achievements: Huynh Sanh Chau (Musician Huy So); Mr. Thai Phu (former Vice Chairman of the Provincial Literature and Arts Association ); Ms. Hoang Thi Thuy Van (former actress of Binh Thuan Opera and Drama Troupe) .

Accordingly, Musician Huy So is currently a retired cadre, a member of the Vietnam Musicians Association, a member of the Provincial Literature and Arts Association. He was formerly the head and art director of the Military Region 4 Art Troupe, head and art director of the Thuan Hai Provincial Song and Dance Troupe; Deputy Director of the Thuan Hai Department of Culture and Information; art advisor of the Binh Thuan Song and Dance Troupe ; Vice Chairman of the Thuan Hai Provincial Literature and Arts Association; art advisor of the Binh Thuan Song and Dance Troupe.

Mr. Thai Phu is currently a retired cadre; member of the Vietnam Stage Artists Association; member of the Binh Thuan Province Literature and Arts Association. He used to be an actor of the Lien Khu 5 Opera Troupe , an actor of the Thuan Hai Opera Troupe; Deputy Head of the Thuan Hai Opera Troupe; Head of the Thuan Hai Cai Luong Troupe (Nhan Trang Troupe); Head of the Binh Thuan Song and Dance Troupe; Vice Chairman of the Binh Thuan Province Literature and Arts Association.

Actress Hoang Thi Thuy Van is a retired cadre; member of the Vietnam Stage Artists Association; member of the Provincial Literature and Arts Association. She was formerly an actress of the Lien Khu 5 Drama Troupe; an actress of the Thuan Hai Folk Song and Drama Troupe (Hai Au Troupe); an actress of the Binh Thuan Drama Troupe.

Mr. Vo Thanh Huy - Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism said: All 3 dossiers proposed to be considered for the 10th title of Meritorious Artist of Binh Thuan province are special cases that meet the conditions for consideration for the title as prescribed in Point d, Clause 4, Article 9, Chapter II of Decree 40/2021/ND-CP.
