Exciting start of the 2025 National Roller Sports Championship for Strong Teams

(NLDO) - Many excellent athletes from 10 provinces and cities compete at the 2025 National Roller Sports Championship for strong teams with many diverse competition events.

The 2025 National Roller Sports Championship for Strong Teams, organized by the Vietnam Skating and Roller Sports Federation, opened on the morning of September 27 at Gia Dinh Stadium (HCMC).

More than 200 athletes from 10 provinces and cities attended the tournament.

This year's event attracted the participation of more than 200 athletes from 10 provinces and cities with strong movements across the country, including: Ho Chi Minh City, Tay Ninh, Can Tho, Bac Ninh, Dong Nai, Khanh Hoa, Lam Dong, Hanoi , Gia Lai and Dong Thap.

Exciting competition after the opening ceremony

The tournament includes a total of 46 competitions, divided into 3 main categories: Speed ​​skating, Artistic skating and Skateboarding. The speed skating event alone has 28 sets of medals and athletes compete in many distances such as: 400 meters (1 lap of the field), 800 meters (2 laps), 1000 meters (2.5 laps) and 1600 meters (4 laps). The age division of athletes is calculated until September 26, 2025 to ensure fairness in the competition.

The championship is held annually with the main purpose of developing the movement of training and competing in Roller Sports nationwide. This is an opportunity for sports delegations to evaluate the quality of their athlete training, while creating the best conditions for athletes to improve their professional achievements and accumulate valuable competition experience.

In particular, the 2025 tournament is of great significance as it is a key step in preparing the forces for the 2026 National Sports Festival, an event that Ho Chi Minh City will host.
