Right from the beginning of the session, green dominated. At 10:00 a.m., VN-Index reached over 1,717 points, up more than 19 points from the reference. After that, profit-taking pressure increased, slowing down the market's growth. By lunchtime, VN-Index increased by 10.63 points to 1,708.46 points.

In the afternoon session, strong demand helped the market regain its upward momentum. At the close of the market, VN-Index reached 1,716.47 points, up 18.64 points (1.1%); VN30-Index increased 17.94 points (0.93%) to 1,940.89 points.
The entire market recorded 157 stocks going up and 146 stocks going down. In the VN30 basket, the number of stocks currently in green dominated with 18 stocks compared to 11 stocks currently in red.
Notably, the real estate group was the focus with many codes increasing in price. In particular, VHM increased to the ceiling, contributing the most to the VN-Index with 7.53 points, VIC contributed 1.26 points, VRE contributed 0.92 points. These three " Vingroup " codes contributed 9.71 points to the index.
In addition, bank stocks such as CTG, VPB, MBB,SHB , TCB also contributed positively to the market's growth.
On the contrary, some large stocks such as VCB and LPB restrained the increase, taking away 1.51 points and 0.54 points respectively.
In terms of industry groups, energy increased the most with 3.61%, followed by personal care and home care products, up 2.52%. Meanwhile, hardware and equipment decreased by 2.08%, the rest decreased by less than 1%.
Liquidity was slightly higher than the previous session, reaching nearly 34,400 billion VND. After a session of net buying, foreign investors returned to net selling with a buying value of 3,210 billion VND and a selling value of over 4,814 billion VND.
On the Hanoi Stock Exchange, the total value reached nearly 1,800 billion VND. At the end of the session, the HNX-Index stopped at 274.94 points, up 1.6 points (0.59%); the HNX30-Index reached 596.95 points, up 8.94 points (1.52%);
