(CLO) On the afternoon of November 2, the 29th Hanoi Journalists Association Sports Festival 2024 officially ended after days of exciting competition.
The 29th Hanoi Journalists Association Sports Festival in 2024 attracted nearly 400 athletes from Journalists Associations, press management agencies, central press agencies, ministries, branches in the area and the capital's press sector. The competition atmosphere was exciting with many attractive competitions such as: football, tug of war, walking, chess, basketball, badminton, attracting enthusiastic cheers from a large audience.

On November 1, after the Opening Ceremony, competitions in tug of war, walking and chess took place. The Organizing Committee awarded medals to the winners of the competitions.
On November 2, the football event took place at the Hoan Kiem District Culture, Sports and Tourism Center. The tournament had 4 teams competing in football, including Hanoi Moi Newspaper, Economic and Urban Newspaper, Hanoi Radio and Television Station, and Hanoi Moi Newspaper Printing Company. After 2 rounds of competition, Hanoi Radio and Television Station won the championship, the second place belonged to Hanoi Moi Newspaper. The Economic and Urban Newspaper team and Hanoi Moi Newspaper Printing Company received third place.
At the Closing Ceremony, the Organizing Committee awarded medals to athletes in the table tennis and badminton competitions. These were the last two events to be awarded at the Sports Festival held at Trinh Hoai Duc Gymnasium.
The 29th Hanoi Journalists Association Sports Festival in 2024 has officially ended. In addition to the medals, the participating athletes also fostered solidarity between journalists from the capital's press agencies and central press agencies, ministries, branches in the area, and Journalists Associations of provinces and cities.
