De Gi commune strives to achieve an average income per capita of 90.5 million VND by 2030.

(GLO)- On August 14, the Party Committee of De Gi commune (Gia Lai province) held its first Congress for the 2025-2030 term, with the participation of 180 delegates representing 1,212 party members in 44 affiliated party cells.

De Gi commune was established on the basis of merging two communes, Cat Tai and Cat Minh, and Cat Khanh town. The first Congress of the Party Committee of De Gi commune set out the direction and tasks for the 2025-2030 term with the determination to build a truly clean and strong Party Committee; strengthen national defense and security, ensure social security; strongly promote the revolutionary tradition, solidarity, self-reliance and aspiration of the entire people.

At the same time, effectively exploiting new potentials and advantages from the merger process to create development momentum. Promoting the application of science and technology, innovation, digital transformation; developing the private economy; promoting administrative reform; improving the effectiveness and efficiency of the political system and the quality of service to the people.

Focus on creating breakthroughs in economic development, creating modern new rural areas, high-quality urban areas, and improving people's material and spiritual lives.

The Congress agreed on a number of key targets for the 2025-2030 term, such as: the average annual total product value increases by 12.6%; by 2030, the average income per capita reaches 90.5 million VND; every year, over 90% of grassroots Party organizations successfully complete their tasks...

Speaking at the Congress, comrade Tran Cang - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Director of the Department of Finance praised the achievements of the local Party Committees before the merger; at the same time, directed a number of tasks that the De Gi commune Party Committee needs to deploy in the 2025-2030 term.

He emphasized the need to strengthen internal solidarity, urgently plan new communes to exploit the potential and advantages of key communes identified by the province; focus on developing trade and services; care for cultural and social development, apply science and technology, digital transformation, especially improve the quality of administrative reform to serve the people.

The Congress announced the decisions of the Provincial Party Standing Committee on appointing the Party Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Secretary, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee; Inspection Committee, Chairman, Deputy Chairman of the Inspection Committee of the De Gi Commune Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term. Accordingly, comrade Pham Dung Luan was appointed as Secretary of the Commune Party Committee.
