Faced with the above situation, on the afternoon of September 30, Thanh Oai commune leaders directly inspected flooded areas and pumping stations, promptly directed disaster prevention and control work and incident handling.

The Commune People's Committee has directed La Khe Irrigation Development Investment Enterprise to operate 12 machines at Phuong Trung Pumping Station, 5 machines at Cu Than Pumping Station and 3 machines at Kim Bai Pumping Station.

The commune leaders requested the Commune Civil Defense Command together with the villages and on-duty forces to monitor the flood situation, check the weak points and culverts under the dike, and promptly inform the commune authorities to have support plans. Regularly update the storm developments due to the circulation of storm No. 10 and the weather situation to promptly respond to unusual situations, especially when heavy rain continues for a long time.

However, due to the heavy rainfall from the past to now, it has caused local flooding in the winter-spring rice area, water reaching the stalks during the drying period and some rice areas were broken by storm winds scattered in the commune; some livestock households have flooded their yards and barns... Thanh Oai Commune requests that people continue to raise their vigilance, be proactive in natural disaster prevention and control, and closely coordinate with local authorities, in order to soon stabilize their lives and restore production.
