Da Nang Hospital has built 14 indicators to evaluate the quality of patient care online (G-forms) to optimize costs, reduce time burden and pressure on medical staff, thereby creating conditions for the team to focus more on patient care.

In particular, the program “Prevention of infection risk and medication errors in intravenous therapy - PRIME” from the JCI Organization (USA) implemented at the hospital has become a bright spot in patient care... This program not only improves service quality but also helps the hospital become the first public unit in Vietnam to achieve the prestigious PRIME certification from the JCI Organization.

The hospital also expands international cooperation with organizations to train nurses according to new programs. Through these programs, the nursing team continuously improves their professional skills and ability to apply modern technology in patient care.

Dr. Le Duc Nhan, Director of Da Nang Hospital, said that in its development strategy, the hospital is constantly expanding and improving the quality of medical services. In order to equip knowledge and skills on artificial intelligence (AI) in healthcare, the City Nursing Association in collaboration with Da Nang Hospital organized training on AI application in nursing for nearly 1,500 nurses at medical facilities in the city. This is an important step to build a team of professional nurses, adapting to the digital transformation era, towards comprehensive - effective - modern patient care. This is also an important step for the city's nursing team to access new technology, improving capacity in the digital age.

According to the leaders of the Da Nang Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital, the unit continuously sends nurses to participate in training courses, workshops, and professional development; including the application of AI. The hospital also regularly invites domestic and foreign experts and reporters to share experiences as well as update new information and knowledge in the fields of obstetrics, pediatrics, nursing care, etc. This is the hospital's initiative to create favorable conditions for medical staff to improve their professional capacity and skills.

Competitions for “Excellent Skills”, “Excellent Nurses - Excellent Technicians”… are held annually by hospitals. The excellent professional competition for nurses with over 5 years of work experience is an opportunity to affirm their capacity and share experiences; in which the competition for nurses with less than 5 years of experience helps to evaluate practical skills and identify areas for improvement. From there, the hospital builds a suitable training plan, ensuring that the nursing team is increasingly solid in their expertise and meets the needs of patient care.

Recently, Thanh Khe Regional Medical Center organized the contest "Skills - solid luggage for young doctors", attracting hundreds of nurses, technicians, midwives, and physicians to participate.
