(Fatherland) - The 11th term People's Council of Ninh Thuan province, 22nd session, has just approved the Master Plan for the construction of Ninh Chu National Tourist Area until 2045.

According to the Resolution, Ninh Chu is a national tourist area, playing an important role in promoting socio -economic development, especially tourism for Ninh Thuan province in particular and the South Central Coast region in general. It is forecasted that by 2045, Ninh Chu national tourist area will welcome nearly 10 million visitors (of which international visitors will be about 1.5 million), with a population of about 300,000 people.

The boundary of the Master Plan for the construction of Ninh Chu National Tourist Area is the coastal area of Ninh Thuan province, with 10,200 hectares of land and about 2,000 hectares at sea to develop areas for tourism and service exploitation. Specifically, the north borders Khanh Hoa province; the south borders Ca Na port; the east and southeast borders the East Sea; the west and northwest borders Nui Chua National Park, the coastal route, the surrounding area of development space along Nai Lagoon, and Mui Dinh Mountain.

Ninh Thuan has set out three development strategies for Ninh Chu: one is to become a sustainable, distinctive, and classy national tourist area by 2035; two is to develop an inclusive marine economy, aiming to link specific local economic sectors; three is to solve environmental and social issues in a sustainable and resource-attracting direction.

The province divides this national tourist area into three large sub-regions, in which the northern region develops high-end eco-tourism associated with the conservation of ecological values, natural landscapes of "sea, forest and agriculture". The central region is a coastal tourist city of "heritage, resort and cuisine", a tourist service center. The southern region will develop energy with a combination of new and adventurous sports, with resort tourism and unique exploration of "sand, salt, sea".

Accordingly, there are 8 key functional sub-areas, including Binh Tien - Bai Thung area; Vinh Hy - Nui Chua area; Nam Nui Chua - Hang Rai - Stone Park area; Thanh Hai - kite surfing area (center); Dam Nai - Ninh Chu area; sub-area No. 3 - Son Hai; Mui Dinh area and Mui Dinh - Ca Na coastal road area.

The implementation of the planning is organized into 2 phases. Phase 1, from now until 2035, focuses on planning and building technical infrastructure, developing key tourism projects. Urban renovation of Vinh Hy, Son Hai, and developing Vinh Hai to town level. Improving Dam Nai ecosystem, planting mangrove forests and encouraging sustainable economy,...

Phase 2, from 2035 to 2045, continues to expand coastal tourism from north to south. Develop Vinh Hy and Son Hai urban areas to town level. Enhance low-density eco-tourism areas along Nai Lagoon, combining community tourism and services such as salt spas. Expand urban areas along new routes to meet development needs,...

Regarding resources for implementing the Project, Ninh Thuan will focus on researching mechanisms to attract and effectively use domestic and foreign investment resources. Reviewing land funds to develop appropriate planning and investment calling plans. Promoting administrative reforms, enhancing dialogue to promptly resolve difficulties for businesses,.../.
