First of all, it is necessary to build a strategy for tourism development in the whole region based on the perspective of "One journey - many destinations", connecting the sacred cultural space of Hung Temple, the ecological beauty of Tam Dao, Dai Lai, Hoa Binh Lake and the identity of the Muong, Dao, Thai ethnic communities... Comrade Vu Thi Hoai Phuong - Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism emphasized: "In the new tourism development space, there are many favorable conditions to effectively exploit the unique tourism potential of the locality. Tourist destinations with many rich tourism products and services create a chain of mutually complementary products, increasing competitiveness, attracting investment and tourists to the province".

Phu Tho currently has 2,778 relics, of which 979 are ranked (6 special national relics, 176 national relics, 797 provincial relics); 6 national treasures; nearly 2,000 intangible cultural heritages, of which 5 are listed by UNESCO. In the period of 2021 - 2025, the province has invested more than 1,100 billion VND in heritage conservation and restoration, with nearly 250 relics and more than 40 intangible heritages restored. Many strategic projects have been implemented such as: Xoan Singing Conservation Project, Muong Ethnic Culture Conservation and Promotion Project, Hoa Binh Culture... Along with that, tourism infrastructure has been significantly improved. The whole province currently has 1,520 accommodation establishments with more than 20,000 rooms, 182 hotels, including 9 4-5 star hotels; 94 travel agencies, including 15 international ones. In 2025, Phu Tho is expected to welcome 14.5 million visitors, including 4.5 million overnight guests; total tourism revenue is estimated at 14,800 billion VND; average growth rate is over 10%/year... These are numbers that affirm the great potential and resilience.

In the coming time, the province is determined to continue investing in upgrading the transport infrastructure system, expanding regional connection routes. In addition, it is developing high-quality tourism products, enhancing the promotion and advertising of international tourism with unique products of outstanding value. Another important direction is digital transformation in tourism, through the construction of a smart tourism data system, integrating digital maps, booking services online, enhancing promotion on digital platforms, connecting with domestic and foreign travel agencies and airlines. Finally, the province needs to continue to promote investment attraction, prioritizing large projects in the fields of high-end resorts, entertainment, golf courses, hot mineral resorts... Large-scale projects, if implemented effectively, will be a "lever" to bring Phu Tho tourism to a new level. With expanded space, rich cultural and ecological potential, and a methodical and drastic development strategy, Phu Tho is facing a golden opportunity to become a diverse and sustainable tourism center of the North, contributing to enhancing the position of the Ancestral Land on the national and regional tourism map.
