Truck overturned on highway after collision with ambulance

After colliding with an ambulance, the truck overturned on the Ho Chi Minh City-Trung Luong highway. The ambulance driver was seriously injured and was taken to the hospital for emergency treatment.

At about 5:40 a.m. on October 4, a traffic collision between a truck and an ambulance on the Ho Chi Minh City - Trung Luong Expressway, at km 22+750 in Thanh Duc commune, Tay Ninh province, left one person seriously injured.

After the collision, the truck overturned.

The ambulance was deformed in the front, the driver was trapped in the cabin.

At that time, ambulance with license plate 71A-237.52 was traveling on the highway from Ho Chi Minh City to the West when it collided with truck with license plate 51D-963.98. The incident caused the front of the ambulance to be deformed, and the truck to overturn on the highway.

The incident was resolved quickly so traffic on the highway was not congested.

The ambulance driver was trapped in the cabin and was taken to the hospital for emergency treatment. Highway Management Team No. 1 coordinated with Road Traffic Police Team No. 7, Traffic Police Department, Ministry of Public Security to be present to direct and regulate traffic. The scene was quickly cleared so vehicles could move normally without congestion.
