Request to dismantle illegally built villa of thousands of square meters in Binh Thuan

On August 19, according to a source from Giao Thong Newspaper, Mr. Phan Duong Cuong, Director of Binh Thuan Department of Construction, signed a document to send to Tanh Linh District People's Committee requesting the demolition of illegal villas in Gia An Commune, Tanh Linh District.

According to the Department of Construction, in August 2022, the People's Committee of Tanh Linh district issued an official dispatch requesting the demolition of the violating construction and part of the violating construction for Mr. CTS (residing in village 1, Gia An commune, Tanh Linh district).

Through actual inspection, the project was not dismantled according to the content of the above document but was completed and put into use, causing bad public opinion in the locality.

"The Department of Construction requests the People's Committee of Tanh Linh district to immediately dismantle Mr. S's construction work that violates construction order according to regulations.

At the same time, handle the responsibility of organizations and individuals related to the above violations. The results of handling violations of construction order must be reported to the Department of Construction before October 30, 2024," the document clearly stated.

According to the case file, Mr. S's "mansion" was built on an area of ​​thousands of square meters on the frontage of DT717, Gia An commune, Tanh Linh district, and started construction in 2022.

In March 2022, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Tanh Linh district issued a decision to administratively sanction Mr. S for committing an administrative violation of constructing a project without a construction permit.

This district requires that within 90 days from the date of issuance of the decision on administrative sanctions, Mr. S must complete the application for a construction permit according to regulations.

However, after the inspection, the homeowner has not completed the application for a construction permit from the competent authority and continues to commit violations.

In August 2022, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Tanh Linh district requested the People's Committee of Gia An commune to issue a notice requesting the homeowner to voluntarily demolish the illegal construction and part of the construction.

If Mr. S fails to comply within the prescribed time, he will be forced to comply according to the provisions of law.

Up to now, the owner of the above illegal construction has not voluntarily dismantled it but has also built a solid fence and completed this illegal construction.
