10 international art troupes participate in the Melody of Peace music night in Quang Tri

On the afternoon of June 18, in Ho Chi Minh City, the organizing committee of the international concert program Melody of Peace - Quang Tri Memories in Bloom held a ceremony to announce the special features of this program.

This is one of the programs within the framework of the Festival For Peace 2024 , held in Quang Tri next July.

Korean, Japanese, Ukrainian art troupes... come to Vietnam

The international concert program Melody of Peace - Quang Tri Blossoming Memories is organized by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Quang Tri province in coordination with the Vietnam - Korea Association of Cultural Industry and Economics .

The program is scheduled to take place on the evening of July 20, at the outdoor stage of the Quang Tri Provincial Cultural and Cinema Center.

Mr. Nguyen Quang Huy - head of the organizing committee of the international concert program Melody of Peace - said that up to now, there are 10 international art troupes confirmed to participate, including: Korea, Japan, USA, France, China, Australia, Cuba, Ukraine...

The concert program is expected to consist of three parts: Peace in the eyes of children, Quang Tri memories blossoming and Quang Tri - a peaceful destination. This is one of the first large-scale international music exchange programs in Quang Tri.

Mr. Le Minh Tuan - Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Quang Tri - expected about 10,000 to 15,000 people to attend the music night.

Ao Dai performance with typical patterns of 192 countries

The highlight of the music night was the performance of the theme song Melody of Peace with the participation of 1,001 Vietnamese and international children and 1,001 performing drones.

Mr. Nguyen Quang Huy "revealed" that in the music night there will be an ao dai fashion show, introducing the typical cultural colors of 54 Vietnamese ethnic groups.

Notably, this ao dai collection is made from recycled materials, which is environmentally friendly.

In addition, the organizers plan to showcase a collection of ao dai with motifs that are typical of 192 countries that have diplomatic relations with Vietnam.

Miss Ban Mai said she accepted the invitation to participate because of the program's meaning.

"The program spreads the message of "peace", which is true to the values ​​I am pursuing, so there is no reason not to participate.

Besides being a beauty queen, I am also an editor, witnessing the changes in the world, I want to promptly reflect to the audience good and positive things through my work" - beauty queen Ban Mai shared with Tuoi Tre Online .

Miss Thu Thuy sees her role as the program's ambassador as a mission to send messages about culture, people, and historical relics to more people.

Through this program, the director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Quang Tri hopes to build Quang Tri into a cultural destination, a peaceful destination.

Some key activities within the framework of the 2024 Festival for Peace

- The cycling festival for peace is the opening activity for the Festival for Peace 2024 , taking place on June 29 and 30, at the special national relic site of Hien Luong - Ben Hai and the special national relic site of Quang Tri ancient citadel.

- The international music exchange program Melody of Peace - Quang Tri Blossoming Memories at the Quang Tri Cultural - Cinema Center, Dong Ha city, Quang Tri province, took place on the evening of July 20.
