On October 6, 2025 (Vietnam time), the Nobel Assembly at the Karolinska Institute in Stockholm, Sweden, announced that the 2025 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine went to three scientists, Mary E. Brunkow, Fred Ramsdell, and Shimon Sakaguchi, for their discoveries related to the mechanisms of peripheral immune tolerance./.
