On the evening of October 6, at the Interior Office, Hue Imperial City, the Hue Monuments Conservation Center, Hue City organized the Hue Royal Palace Mid-Autumn Festival 2025.
This is a unique event, rich in cultural identity and traditional character within the framework of Hue Festival 2025. Thousands of people and tourists came to participate in the Hue Royal Mid-Autumn Festival 2025 and were immersed in the traditional Mid-Autumn atmosphere with many attractive activities.
This is a space for displaying and arranging lanterns, introducing typical Hue lanterns such as Bao La bamboo and rattan lanterns, folding lanterns, and traditional lantern works by artisans from Japan's Gifu province.
Mr. Le Phuong, 45 years old, Thuy Xuan ward shared that he took his 9-year-old child to see the program and was very impressed with the space displaying and arranging the lanterns. The lanterns have impressive bright colors. In particular, Hue lanterns still maintain their tradition with sophisticated decorative patterns, typical of the ancient royal space.
The program also included royal court games such as card games, pink tattooing, calligraphy, etc., bringing both fun and cultural experiences to locals and tourists. Mr. Nguyen Long, 45 years old, from Quang Tri province, shared that the games were really interesting and full of tradition.
Mr. Long was very impressed with the calligraphy space with the skillful and talented writing of each stroke of the writer. In particular, each letter has a very high educational meaning.
The program also includes "Royal Full Moon Night" with royal art performances on the stage behind the Interior Ministry, Hue Imperial City, creating a sparkling atmosphere full of heritage.
All activities in the Hue Royal Palace Mid-Autumn Festival 2025 do not charge entrance fees and take place on two evenings, October 6-7./.
