If at the 2024 Festival, the three plays affirmed their artistic quality, leaving a deep impression on the art council and the audience, now they continue their journey of spreading value through performances serving the people. This is an opportunity for the three plays to reach a larger audience and to demonstrate the vitality and durability of the stage in today's social life.
On September 18 and 19, Quoc Thao Stage brought "Fiery Field" to students of the Ho Chi Minh City Academy of Officials and audiences in District 4 at the Khanh Hoi Ward Cultural and Sports Center. The applause and emotions of the audience showed that the play not only recreated a historical period but also evoked pride and a sense of responsibility in today's generation.

The play "Comrade" - a work of the Ho Chi Minh City Theater Association, directed by People's Artist Tran Ngoc Giau, assistant director Quoc Thinh took place on September 26 at the Small Stage Drama Theater. The play continued to be performed on September 27 at the Tay Thanh Ward Cultural and Sports Service Center (Tan Phu District) and on September 28 at the Small Stage Drama Theater.
With its message of comradeship and revolutionary ideals, the play becomes a bridge between past values and contemporary life.
Director Quoc Thao said: "The play "Fire Field" was adapted from the event of 32 frontline workers who heroically sacrificed their lives on Lang Sau field in a "white night" full of pain and tragedy.

On the night of June 15, 1968, on Lang Sau field, groups of frontline workers were on duty to transport ammunition into the inner city and bring wounded soldiers to the rear, when the enemy used many helicopters to raid and open fire on the field. 32 workers, most of them female, very young, sacrificed in just one night, forever gone in the last days of the second phase of the Mau Than General Offensive and Uprising in 1968. Every time we re-perform the work, we artists are moved, blending in with the emotions of the public."
Particularly, "The Left General Le Van Duyet - The Man Who Carried 9 Death Sentences" staged by IDECAF Drama Theater is scheduled to be performed during the Week, promising to recreate the portrait of a tragic historical figure of the South, arousing pride in national traditions.
Literature and Arts Week - from art to community
According to the plan of the Department of Culture and Sports of Ho Chi Minh City, the promotion of gold medal-winning plays aims to honor artistic values and serve a wide range of audiences from students, workers to theater lovers.
Thousands of invitations have been issued, in coordination with the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation and Youth Union to bring art closer to community life.
