44 new solar power systems have not been put into operation yet.

According to information from the Department of Industry and Trade, from 2021 to present, 78 additional rooftop solar power systems have been installed in the province.

Of these, 34 systems were developed in the period from the beginning of 2021 to October 22, 2024 with a total installed capacity of about 40 MW. These systems are operating under Decree No. 135/2024/ND-CP dated October 22, 2022 of the Government stipulating mechanisms and policies to encourage the development of self-produced and self-consumed rooftop solar power.

From October 22, 2024 to now, there have been 44 rooftop solar power systems developed in the form of self-production and self-consumption with a total capacity of about 93MW (about 95% developed on factory roofs in industrial parks and industrial clusters). All of these cases have been notified or granted registration certificates by the Department of Industry and Trade according to the provisions of Decree No. 58/2025/ND-CP dated March 3, 2025 of the Government detailing a number of articles of the Electricity Law on the development of renewable energy and new energy. However, all of the above power sources have not met the conditions for being put into operation because they have not yet completed a number of related legal procedures under the responsibility of the power unit.
