The An Giang Provincial Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term has set the goal of developing An Giang dynamically, comprehensively and sustainably. To realize that aspiration, synchronous development in many areas is needed, in which trade and investment promotion needs to go first, contributing to promoting resources for mutual development.

In trade and investment promotion, An Giang positions its brand with the message of being the center of marine economy and high-tech agriculture of the Mekong Delta.

Accordingly, the Provincial People's Committee proposed four groups of solutions including breakthroughs in thinking and promotion methods based on digital transformation: building a comprehensive digital promotion ecosystem such as building, upgrading and perfecting the province's promotion information portal to become a smart interactive platform...

Organize promotional events on cyberspace, increase the organization of seminars, conferences, talks, and trade connections online to reach unlimited partners and investors... Apply artificial intelligence by analyzing, screening, and approaching potential investors through artificial intelligence applications, instead of waiting for them to come to us. Thanks to that, the province can proactively "knock on the door" of corporations in priority areas such as high-tech agriculture , processing industry, renewable energy, and logistics.

Regarding breakthroughs in positioning and building local brands, An Giang needs to build a consistent brand identity for the province, with a clear message: “An Giang is the center of marine economy and high-tech agriculture in the Mekong Delta”. In the field of investment, the province needs to focus on attracting selective investment, prioritizing projects that are in line with the orientation of green and sustainable development. In terms of trade, the province needs to support businesses in building brands for key products such as rice, tra fish, shrimp, mango, vegetables, etc. associated with geographical indications and traceability.

For breakthroughs in on-site promotion and post-investment support, the province needs to identify not only the role of the state, but also the role of existing investors as important "promotion ambassadors", so the Provincial People's Committee and departments and branches need to consider resolving difficulties and problems for businesses operating in the province as a top priority.

At the same time, the province promotes and effectively implements administrative reforms, creating favorable conditions for businesses and people. Advises and develops appropriate policies to encourage investors when investing in projects in the province. Relevant departments and branches in the fields of trade and investment need to promote support for projects, from the initial survey stage to stable operation.

Regarding breakthroughs in regional connectivity and international cooperation, An Giang province continues to proactively coordinate with provinces and cities in the Mekong Delta region to build joint promotion activities, forming a combined strength to attract inter-regional projects, especially in the fields of logistics and transport infrastructure.

In particular, focusing on provinces and cities that have close links with An Giang in the key economic region of the Mekong Delta (Can Tho, An Giang, Kien Giang, Ca Mau - now Can Tho, An Giang, Ca Mau). ABCD Mekong regional network (An Giang, Ben Tre, Can Tho, Dong Thap - now An Giang, Vinh Long, Can Tho, Dong Thap).

Especially for foreign markets, An Giang strengthens cooperation with Vietnamese diplomatic representative agencies and business associations in key markets, regional markets, and emerging markets to facilitate local promotion and connection with multinational corporations.
