Leaders of the Provincial Red Cross Society presented gifts to individuals and families with many achievements in voluntary blood donation.
On this occasion, 471 outstanding collectives, families and individuals with many outstanding contributions to the voluntary blood donation movement received certificates of merit from the Central Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross Society , the "For the humanitarian cause" Medal, certificates of merit from the People's Committee of An Giang province and gifts from the National Steering Committee for Voluntary Blood Donation.

In 2024 and the first 9 months of 2025, the whole province will receive over 50,000 units of blood, ensuring a safe and timely blood supply for medical treatment and saving lives. From now until the end of 2025, hospitals in the province will need over 8,000 units of blood for emergency and medical treatment.
