That was the information given by Colonel Dang My Hanh, Head of the Department of Culture and Arts, Department of Propaganda and Training (General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army), at the introduction of the art program "The Country is Full of Joy" to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification.

This is an activity to widely propagate the historical significance of the Great Spring Victory of 1975 and to pay tribute to the forces that contributed to the great victory.

The program is directed by the Central Military Commission - Ministry of National Defense ; the General Department of Politics directs the content and art;

The Propaganda Department organized the implementation; coordinated with the Military Region 7 Command and Vietnam Television to organize live television broadcast.

The Land of Joy is a grand epic art program, including singing, dancing, music, and theater combined with live performances, telling historical stories through artistic language.

The program's content highlights the leadership role of the Party and President Ho Chi Minh, the brave fighting spirit of our army and people, and the image of Uncle Ho's soldiers in the historic Ho Chi Minh campaign.

Thereby arousing patriotism, national pride and aspiration to develop the country in the new period.

The brother overcame thousands of obstacles to perform on the biggest stage ever

The event will take place at the outdoor stage in front of Thong Nhat Hall (135 Nam Ky Khoi Nghia, District 1, HCMC).

According to Colonel Dang My Hanh, this is the largest stage ever in this area, with an area of ​​2,700 square meters, with the Ministry of National Defense investing in a modern sound and lighting system and advanced mapping projection technology.

The program brings together more than 1,000 actors and artists from military art troupes, theaters, art schools and armed forces.

Some famous artists such as singer Cam Van, Tung Duong, and People's Artist Thanh Thuy will participate.

In particular, according to the organizers, the Anh trai vu ngan cong gai crew will participate in the performance and will be commissioned to compose some works specifically for the program.

It is expected that about 3,000 delegates, including leaders and former leaders of the Party, State, Vietnam Fatherland Front; central agencies and Ho Chi Minh City;

Representatives of military regions, military services, branches, armed forces, organizations, religious dignitaries, veteran revolutionary cadres, heroic Vietnamese mothers, heroes of the armed forces, and representatives of foreign diplomatic agencies attended.
