According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, on February 26, the North will continue to experience severe cold, with some mountainous areas experiencing severe cold.

The area from Da Nang to Binh Thuan , the Central Highlands and the South will have rain, showers and thunderstorms; thunderstorms may cause tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind. Localized heavy rain may cause flash floods on small rivers and streams, landslides on steep slopes and flooding in low-lying areas.

At sea, the sea area east of the North East Sea has strong northeast wind level 6, Huyen Tran has strong northeast wind level 6.

On the day and night of February 26, the eastern sea area of ​​the North East Sea, in the morning there will be strong northeast wind level 6, gusting to level 7-8, rough sea; from noon and afternoon the wind will gradually decrease; waves 3-5m high.

Offshore waters from Khanh Hoa to Ca Mau have strong northeast winds at level 5, sometimes at level 6, gusting to level 7-8; rough seas; waves 2-4m high. In the western waters of the South China Sea (including the western waters of Truong Sa), strong northeast winds at level 6, gusting to level 7-8, rough seas; from night the wind gradually decreases; waves 3-5m high.

All vessels operating in the above areas are at high risk of being affected by cyclones, strong winds and large waves. Risk level of natural disasters due to strong winds at sea: level 2.
