Implementing the official dispatch of the Department of Agriculture and Environment of the province on proactively deploying measures to respond to heavy rain, risk of flooding and landslides caused by storm No. 7, on the afternoon of September 9, at Xuan Cam commune, the leaders of the commune People's Committee coordinated with Dike Management Unit No. 9 to inspect sluice gates, drainage pumping stations, and vulnerable dike areas on the left dike route of Cau through the commune.
At the same time, the locality sent forces from the villages to collect duckweed, garbage and other obstacles on the canals and ditches of Ngo Xa and Ngo Khong villages.

According to comrade Hoang Van Quan, Secretary of the Party Committee of Dai Son commune, in the flood at the end of August, the locality had 13 landslides, 27 overflows were flooded, 10 households had floodwaters infiltrate their houses, 2 households had rocks and soil on the hill slide up to the foot of their house walls, and dozens of hectares of fruit trees were flooded.
With the spirit of early initiative, the Party Committee and People's Committee of the commune regularly inform the weather situation to the villages and residential areas through the loudspeaker system so that people can grasp the information and prepare plans to evacuate people and property in dangerous areas to safe places when necessary. The main forces on duty to prevent and fight natural disasters, including members of the Civil Defense Command, police, military ... of the commune, deploy a plan to be on duty 24/24 hours.
