On the morning of November 26, the Provincial People's Council's Culture and Social Affairs Committee met to review the draft resolutions to be submitted at the 23rd Session (regular session at the end of 2024) of the 14th Provincial People's Council, term 2021-2026.

Attending the meeting were comrades: Vi Ngoc Bich, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Vu Van Dien, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of a number of departments, branches and sectors of the province.

The contents to be examined include: Draft resolution on the socio-economic development tasks of the province in 2025 in the field of culture and society; draft resolution on renaming villages and neighborhoods after rearranging commune-level administrative units in Dong Trieu City, Ha Long City and Mong Cai City; draft resolution regulating prices of medical examination and treatment services on the list paid by the Health Insurance Fund and prices of medical examination and treatment services not on the list paid by the Health Insurance Fund but not medical examination and treatment services on request for State medical examination and treatment facilities in the area managed by Quang Ninh province; draft resolution abolishing Resolution No. 32/2024/NQ-HDND dated April 19, 2024 of the Provincial People's Council regulating prices of medical examination and treatment services not covered by the Health Insurance Fund (but not medical examination and treatment services on request) performed at State medical examination and treatment facilities managed by Quang Ninh province.

After listening to the review report, the delegates discussed and clarified a number of contents related to the draft resolutions such as: Some solutions to develop cultural institutions at the grassroots level; improve clean water usage targets in rural areas; assess the actual results of sustainable poverty reduction work; remove difficulties and obstacles for teachers and workers in the education sector; review and evaluate the effectiveness of implementing the resolutions issued by the Provincial People's Council on specific support mechanisms in various fields...
Comrade Vu Thi Dieu Linh, Head of the Provincial People's Council's Culture and Social Affairs Committee, requested the Provincial People's Committee and relevant departments, branches and units to absorb the comments at the review meeting to synthesize, clarify and complete the draft contents according to regulations.
