Political report paves the way for Dong Nai to "take off"

The 1st Congress of the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee, term 2025-2030, was held in a special context: It was the first congress term after the merger of the province, with great political and historical significance. The political report of the Provincial Party Committee Executive Committee is the crystallization of collective intelligence, unity of will, aspirations and political determination of the entire Party Committee, army and people in the province, paving the way for new breakthroughs, bringing Dong Nai to take off in the era of strong and prosperous development of the country.

The political report was built on the theme: "Building a clean, strong, united, disciplined and responsible Party and political system; ensuring national defense - security, border sovereignty; mobilizing and effectively using all resources, developing a green, prosperous, civilized and modern Dong Nai province". The motto for action was clearly defined: "Solidarity - Pioneering - Breakthrough - Integration - Development". The theme and motto of the congress were comprehensive, this is a political command, a strong call for the entire Party, government, army and people in the province to join hands, be united, and firmly enter the new term with steadfast faith.

Dong Nai province currently has an area of ​​12,737.18 km2; a population of nearly 4.5 million people; 95 commune-level administrative units (including 72 communes and 23 wards). The entire provincial Party Committee has 99 affiliated Party Committees with more than 131,000 party members; it is a locality with tradition and diversity in culture, history, ethnicity and religion. Located in the Southern key economic zone, the province has a synchronous transport infrastructure system with all 5 modes of transport (including: road, air, railway, sea and inland waterway); notably Long Thanh International Airport, Phuoc An Port and 10 expressways that have been, are being and will be deployed; has a border with the Kingdom of Cambodia of 258.939 km long, with Hoa Lu International Border Gate Economic Zone.

Dong Nai is one of the leading industrial development provinces in the country, with 83 industrial parks planned on an area of ​​over 36,700 hectares; has more than 1 million hectares of agricultural land with many branded products associated with geographical indications; has a large area of ​​natural forests and diverse forest ecosystems, has the Dong Nai River system, Be River and a large system of hydroelectric and irrigation lakes.

In which, people are the center, the subject, the resource and the goal of the development process. All policies and strategies aim to improve the material and spiritual life of the people; arouse the desire to contribute, be creative and the will to rise of each person and each community. Investing in education, health care, culture, social security and developing high-quality human resources is considered a key solution, creating a foundation for Dong Nai to develop quickly and sustainably, becoming a livable land, where people are comprehensively developed and actively contribute to the common prosperity of the province.

In recent times, Dong Nai has achieved many outstanding results, including many bright spots such as: Economic growth rate in the period of 2021-2025 reached 7.11%/year; by 2025, the total product in the province reached 694,457 billion VND, GRDP per capita reached 153.7 million VND/person; Dong Nai continues to be one of the leading industrial - export centers in the country. Not only economic growth, the province also firmly ensures social security, the multidimensional poverty rate has decreased to below 1.2%, over 95% of people participate in health insurance. In particular, entering the 2025-2030 term, human development indicators are increasingly approaching international standards: average life expectancy is 77.67 years old, 2.6 million workers have stable jobs, GRDP per capita reaches over 250 million VND/year. This is a vivid demonstration of comprehensive and harmonious development, with people as the center, goal and driving force.

Entering the new term, the development perspective is set to harmoniously combine economic growth with social progress, environmental protection, improving people's material and spiritual life; maintaining political stability, national defense and security; promoting comprehensive strength, promoting innovation and deep international integration.

3 strategic breakthroughs, levers for rapid and sustainable development

The 1st Congress of Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee, term 2025-2030, identified 3 strategic breakthrough tasks, which are both urgent requirements and long-term foundations for the province's sustainable development.

Firstly, improve the quality of the staff, especially key staff at all levels with strong political will, aspiration to contribute, with sufficient qualities and capacity to meet the tasks, and at the same time develop high-quality human resources for key areas. Secondly, mobilize and effectively use all resources to develop a modern and synchronous transport, urban, logistics, technology and social infrastructure system, creating strong connections within the province, region and inter-region. Thirdly, promote science, technology, innovation and digital transformation associated with administrative reform, build a professional, modern, effective and efficient administration serving the people and businesses, towards developing digital government, digital economy and digital society.

These breakthrough tasks demonstrate the high political determination and strong development aspirations of the Party Committee, army and people of Dong Nai. Entering the new term, Dong Nai identified adjusting the Provincial Planning for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050 as a very important task. Northern industrial - urban area, linked with Hoa Lu Border Gate Economic Zone, Hoang Dieu Border Gate and urban areas: Binh Phuoc, Dong Xoai, Chon Thanh, Binh Long.

Lakeside economic zone - western riverside ecological urban area, with urban areas of Bien Hoa, Tran Bien, Long Hung, Dai Phuoc...

High-tech agricultural - eco-tourism area in the Northeast, associated with localities: Bu Gia Map, Phuoc Long, Bu Dang, Ta Lai, Nam Cat Tien.
