DNO - Ban Thach Social Insurance has just awarded retirement decisions to two voluntary social insurance participants.

These are the first two cases in the area to receive monthly pension decisions according to the new regulations of the Social Insurance Law 2024.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Van received the retirement decision and received pension from August 2025.

That is the case of Ms. Nguyen Thi Van (Hoa Trung, Quang Phu ward) and Mr. Le Van Dao (Loc Ninh, Tay Ho commune, Da Nang city) who officially enjoy retirement benefits from August 1, 2025.

Both of them had previously participated in compulsory social insurance. After being informed and encouraged, they both decided to continue participating in voluntary social insurance to receive pensions later. Mr. Dao paid nearly 200 million VND in July 2025 to have enough years of social insurance contributions of 15 years according to the new regulations and to receive pensions from August 2025 with a salary of over 5 million VND/month.

Mr. Le Van Dao voluntarily participates in social insurance and receives pension from August 2025.

At the decision-giving ceremony, Ms. Tran Thi Thu Hong - Director of Ban Thach Social Insurance affirmed that the retirement regime is the core of the social insurance policy, ensuring long-term social security for workers when they reach retirement age.

The new regulation of the Social Insurance Law 2024 on reducing the minimum number of years of social insurance contributions to receive pension from 20 years to 15 years has opened up opportunities for self-employed workers to receive monthly pensions. At the same time, he expressed his hope that those who receive today's decision will be active propagandists spreading the voluntary social insurance policy to relatives, friends, and neighbors, so that more and more people will understand and actively participate in voluntary social insurance, ensuring their own rights as well as reducing the burden on their children.
