Continuous heavy rains also caused flooding and landslides in many communes and wards, causing damage to about 20 houses, with roofs blown off, flooded, and landslides. 372 households (about 1,467 people) living in areas at risk of landslides and flash floods were evacuated to safety. Damage to agriculture and forestry was 191.1 hectares of rice and crops; damage to irrigation, a ditch about 15 meters long broke; damage to traffic, with 31 landslides on traffic routes; landslide volume of about 4,275 m3 affecting traffic.

Faced with the current situation, the Civil Defense Command of communes and wards in Phu Tho province has mobilized forces to support people in overcoming damages, evacuating households to safe places, organizing inspections and assessing damages; assigning forces to be on duty 24/7, continuing to monitor and continuously update the storm situation, to proactively respond to possible situations, directing villages and militia forces to check and guard traffic routes and culverts to ensure smooth traffic.

At the same time, direct relevant departments, offices and units to organize propaganda, instruct people to tie and support their houses, move assets and livestock to safe places, remind fish cage farming households to reinforce and protect their assets. Organize the installation of warning signs in areas with high risk of landslides and dangerous warning areas.
