Health and Life Newspaper presented hundreds of gifts worth 1 billion VND to people in Bac Ha district, Lao Cai.

The volunteer delegation was led by journalist Tran Tuan Linh - Editor-in-Chief of Health and Life Newspaper. Also attending were leaders of Bac Ha district, Nam Luc commune and representatives of sponsors. The total value of cash and gifts donated to Bac Ha this time was 1 billion VND.

At the gift-giving ceremony, Editor-in-Chief of Health and Life Newspaper Tran Tuan Linh shared: "Today, coming to Bac Ha, we would like to send these meaningful and practical gifts, hoping that the people affected by the floods will have less difficulties and soon stabilize their lives. This is not only a material resource but also shows the heart of Health and Life Newspaper and its accompanying units and benefactors through the Newspaper to the people and localities. The program demonstrates the social responsibility of a press agency. Through this, the Newspaper would also like to thank the sponsors who have accompanied to implement this program."

Sharing the losses of the local people, the Newspaper has given gifts to 300 households facing difficulties after being affected by storm No. 3.

Each household received 1,000,000 VND in cash and gifts in kind, including medicines and essential items worth about 2 million VND. For the 12 households that suffered the most severe damage to people and property, the Delegation supported each household with 2,000,000 VND and gifts.

In addition to the gifts sent to the people, the Health and Life Newspaper and its accompanying units gave to the People's Committee of Nam Luc commune; Bac Ha District Medical Center - Lao Cai; Nam Luc Commune Medical Station and commune medical staff 10,000,000 VND each, along with essential medicines. To encourage the military forces of Nam Luc commune who have worked very hard in the past time in rescue and supporting the people, the Delegation donated 10,000,000 VND.
