Thanh Nien Newspaper awards best songs about youth

Competition to compose logos and songs about youth propaganda for the 9th National Congress of the Vietnam Youth Union, term 2024 - 2029.

The organizing committee received 54 entries from 43 authors. Accordingly, the organizing committee unanimously selected: the song Proud of Vietnamese Youth by author Mai Tram (HCMC) to win first prize (prize: 50 million VND) and become the official song of the 9th National Congress of the Vietnam Youth Union, term 2024 - 2029.

The judging panel includes Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Luong, Secretary of the Central Youth Union, President of the Vietnam Youth Union; Mr. Nguyen Kim Quy, Permanent Vice President of the Central Youth Union; Mr. Nguyen Thai An, Head of the Central Youth Union's Propaganda Department; journalist Nguyen Ngoc Toan, Editor-in-Chief of Thanh Nien Newspaper; musician Nguyen Duc Trinh, President of the Vietnam Musicians' Association; singer Tung Duong, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Young Artists' Club; musician Hoai An, member of the Vietnam Musicians' Association; director Thai Huan; rapper Double2T - Champion of Rap Viet season 3.

The Jury also selected 5 quality songs (bonus is 10 million VND/song), including: "Proud to be a youth" by author Van Viet Phuong Hoai; "Firm steps of the youth of the era" by author Ho Cong Thanh; "Where green shines" by author Huynh Duc; "Vietnamese youth - Aspiration for tomorrow" by author An Hieu and "Our glory" by author Nguyen Chung Bao.

For the logo, the Organizing Committee received 226 works (logos) from 60 authors across the country. After the first round of checking, the standing committee selected 138 works (logos) that met the standards.

The logo is designed in a new, impressive style, conveying the spirit of the Vietnam Youth Union through a typical image, expressing the core meaning and content of the 9th National Congress of the Vietnam Youth Union, in a minimalist style, with strong integration and adaptation in the current digital age.

Minimalist, modern, easy to remember, easy to apply on all different media and materials.
