Currently, Thanh Cong Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities - Secondary School has 8 classes with 214 students. Of which, there are 10 disabled students; 4 orphaned students; 150 students from poor households, 53 students from near-poor households, 213 students with permanent residence in communes with especially difficult conditions.
The school's facilities have been invested in, built and put into use by the State and the industry since 2001. Up to now, some items such as student toilets, dormitories and classrooms have been damaged and degraded; there is a lack of modern teaching equipment and tools...
After Typhoon Yagi , the school suffered many impacts, especially the boarding kitchen which was seriously degraded, the floor was sunk, not ensuring safety for organizing cooking to serve students. In addition, the facilities of some public kitchens had their roofs blown off, walls cracked, and many students' daily necessities were also damaged.
