Despite the ban, tourists still swim at Sam Son beach before the storm hits.

According to VietNamNet, from 3-5pm this afternoon (September 6), along Sam Son beach there were many tourists swimming even though the sky was covered with dark clouds and it started to rain.

A tourist said they had booked in advance. Before the storm hit, the group took advantage of the opportunity to swim and take photos.

A lifeguard there said that despite being told not to go to the beach, tourists still went swimming. Lifeguards had to keep a close watch and constantly call tourists to come ashore to ensure safety.
