OCOP "takes off", promoting local products
The amended Law on the Capital opens up many development opportunities for cultural industries in Hanoi. In particular, the establishment of cultural industry centers with the function of supporting distribution, organizing exhibition spaces, introducing and selling OCOP products (One Commune One Product) is expected to create a big boost for the local economy .
According to the Draft Resolution regulating the organization and operation of cultural industry centers, cultural industry centers will be established based on core principles: promoting traditional cultural values, applying modern technology, cooperating and ensuring sustainability. The operating model of these centers can be enterprises or public service units, with the main functions of organizing exhibitions and introducing OCOP products, providing distribution support services, organizing cultural events and training human resources.

"The establishment of cultural industry centers will help Hanoi 's OCOP products have more opportunities to access the market, increase their value and competitiveness. We have high expectations for this model," said Duc Tuan in Ha Dong, Hanoi.
As a tofu producer in Chai village, Ms. Quynh Ngan expressed: "In the past, finding a market for our products was difficult. If there was a cultural industry center to support us, we would have the opportunity to expand production and increase income."
According to the draft, cultural industrial centers are not only places to display products, but also "launch pads" to help OCOP products "take off" in the market. Organizing events, exhibitions, fairs... will create spaces for exchange and connection between producers and consumers, between businesses and investors. This not only helps expand the consumer market, but also creates opportunities for OCOP products to improve quality, diversify designs, and better meet market needs.
Inspire creative incubators, give wings to cultural startups
The draft Resolution regulating the organization and operation of cultural industry centers not only opens up opportunities for OCOP products, but also creates favorable conditions for start-ups and innovation in the cultural field. Cultural industry centers, as creative "incubators", are expected to become a convergence of unique ideas and potential projects, contributing to enriching the cultural life of the capital. This is not only a place for young talents to express themselves, but also a place for traditional cultural values to be recreated and developed in a modern context.
Startup ecosystem - where ideas become reality |
"The Cultural Industry Center is an ideal place for us to learn, connect and develop our projects. Here, young people with good startup ideas will be supported with capital, expertise and market," shared Minh Anh, a fourth-year student at the Academy of Journalism and Communication - founder of a startup project in the cultural field.
Many other young people who are nurturing creative ideas are also hoping that the draft Resolution regulating the organization and operation of cultural industry centers will come into practice. They believe that, with the support from cultural industry centers, they will have the opportunity to turn those ideas into reality, contributing to enriching the cultural identity of the capital.
"Hanoi has great potential to develop cultural industries. The establishment of cultural industry centers will create a favorable ecosystem for start-up and innovation projects," said Nguyen Tuan Ha, a fourth-year student at the University of Transport.
Tuan Ha believes that these centers are not only places for material support, but also places to create a creative environment where startups can learn, share experiences and seek cooperation.
The cultural industry center is expected by many young people to be a fulcrum for OCOP products and startups. |
With the support from cultural industrial centers, creative cultural projects will have the opportunity to "take wing" to fly higher and further. This not only contributes to the development of the local economy, but also creates new cultural values, enriching the spiritual life of the people of the capital. Cultural industrial centers will become attractive destinations for culture lovers, investors and tourists who want to explore the unique cultural beauty of Hanoi.
