After the merger, Pleiku ward now has 1,482 enterprises and 13 cooperatives. The main economic structure includes industry-construction accounting for 52%, trade-services 46% and agriculture 2%.

Despite its great potential, the private economy in the area still faces many difficulties and challenges such as: small and micro-sized enterprises; limited access to capital, technology and high-quality human resources; weak management capacity; weak linkages between enterprises; and some support policies that are not really close to reality.

With the consistent viewpoint of "taking business satisfaction and development as a measure of government service efficiency", Pleiku ward has focused on promoting administrative procedure reform, improving the investment environment, and accompanying businesses in removing difficulties.

Currently, the ward is speeding up the implementation of key plans and projects such as: CK54 Urban Area; Hoi Phu Stream Zoning Plan Phase 3; Ly Tu Trong Residential Area Extension Project; Op Village Negative Volcano Project... aiming to build Pleiku ward into a "green-civilized-rich-identity destination", as a foundation to promote potential, becoming a driving force for development of the province.

At the conference, delegates frankly discussed and shared difficulties and problems related to administrative procedures, land, tax, credit, digital transformation, production linkage, product consumption, etc. There were 9 opinions given to remove "bottlenecks", create a favorable investment and business environment, and promote sustainable development of the private economic sector.

The ward government will continue to accompany and create an equal and transparent investment environment, taking the satisfaction and development of enterprises as a measure of service efficiency.

In the coming time, Pleiku ward will continue to maintain regular dialogues, promote administrative reforms, support small and micro enterprises in digital transformation and e-commerce; and at the same time encourage the model of "Green Enterprise - Clean Business - Civilized Urban Area".
